Welcome

About Langer School

Langer School has about 140 children, meaning that the school is large enough to offer  a range of exciting opportunities for the children, but small enough for the staff to get to know the children and their needs very well. The school is fortunate enough to be within walking distance of the beach, something which offers learning opportunities beyond those available to many schools.

The school is organised into 6 classes:

Much of the children’s work is class based, but there are times when we work on a whole school or Key Stage project.
As well as the classrooms, we have a hall, which is used for dinners, assemblies and P.E, an ICT suite, a library, a ‘Nurture Room,’ which is used to support learning in small groups, and extensive grounds. The youngest children have their own enclosed outdoor play area. The whole site is well maintained and spacious and lends itself well to an exciting primary education.

If you would like to make an appointment to come and look round the school, please contact the headteacher, Mrs Sue Cross, on 01394 283065.
We look forward to hearing from you!

School News

To celebrate Chinese New Year each class took part in some fun Chinese activities.
Our school cooks, Mrs Studd and Ms Foster made us a delicious Chinese lunch including chicken chow mein and sweet and sour vegetables.
As an extra special treat, everyone was given a fortune cookie after their lunch.

Pictures of the activities are on the News Page
